An operations/departmental manager can be a professional manager from any sector and organisation size.
The Standard has been designed to provide access to development opportunities for a wide range of individuals. This includes those who are at the start of their career and wish to make the first steps into professional management, aswell as those who have already developed practical experience but want to develop their theoretical understanding of management skills.
